Simple Hummus

  • 1 15-ounce can chickpeas, rinsed
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 cup cup olive oil, plus more for serving
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp tahini (sesame seed paste; optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh red pepper cut into tiny pieces and mixed in
  • Blend all of the ingredients together in a food processor and voila!
